Today in Perth most of us were woken by a freak thunder storm called thundersnow. It was rather werid as laying in bed it just sounds like some people putting out their bins, then you look out and see flashes of light oh and the snow too of course. I did wonder why I could hear my wee one wakening at around 0730-0800, as I never heard it till 0810. It never seemed to bother him though. After being up all morning doing the usual chill out Sunday after lunch we went for a nap. Later the two boys went out in the snow…
This is Lochlins first few steps in the snow, all went well till they went into the deep stuff …..
He just was not too sure as he could not grip with his feet, as we all know in snow your feet just sink sink sink.
This is not Lochlin’s first time seeing/being in snow just his first steps as when it snowed bad back at the start of the year he was still little and I carried him in a sling as the buggie was useless.
Later that day Lochlin found some cake cases so we decided to make some chocolate crispies – yum yum. I melted the chocolate in the pan this was before Lochlin had time to nick any, then together we added the crispies to the bowl at his level on his table. Put them in the cases where Lochlin tried his best then came the sprinkles ….
Can you see the right hand corner it looks just like the snow. Maybe we could call it Lochlin’s snow master piece.
